Crystal Powder is used to forge Old Weapons into a random weapon of the same class. While Crystal shards, which is harder to obtain forges 4 star Soulbound weapons into a 5 star. Finally crystals, the hardest to obtain forges 5 star Soulbound weapons into their final 6 star stage.
Crystal is a new item of Patch 1.5.7 release on 15th April, 2015 together with Fortress of Souls.
