9/11/16 Patch: Episode 7

EPISODE 7: Holy City will be added. Unravel the story of the successor of the light!

  • There will be a total of 3 chapters added.
  • Chapter 1 of the Holy City is made of 10 stages.
  • Chapter 2 of the Holy City is made of 12 stages.
  • Chapter 3 of the Holy City is made of 8 stages.

  • Meet the mysterious new Goddess in the game!
  • A new conversation will be added too.

Hero Interactions

  • Now you can tap on a hero in the Lobby, Hero Tome, Hero Details, and Skin Management to see his or her animation.
  • You can change a hero's facial expression in Hero Details. This expression will be shown while your heroes are in the town.
  • Form the party of a specific hero, and the Speech Bubble will show up in town.

UI / UX fixes

  • In the World Boss, battle info including damage and healing will show up.
  • The tutorial has been improved. Now you can enjoy free play a little faster.
  • Transfer Skill UI have been reworked.
  • Quest UI has been redone. Now unaccomplished Quests will show up in the upper screen. Success or failure will show up in the Daily and Weekly Quest tab, too.
  • Now you can see Stage Boss info more clearly.
  • You can now unlock skills that had a 5* hero unlock requirement by obtaining their 6* version.
  • Neo, Mel, Layla will no longer show up in the Race Quiz.

New Packages

  • A new Champion unlock package will be added. Now you can obtain a 6-star Hero to unlock a Champion, and gold.
  • Champion Growth Package will be added. You can obtain 6-star Support Heroes and Jewels.

New Quests

  • 8 Normal Quests, 3 Repeat Quests, 11 Epic Quests were added.
  • Save Hasla in the new Quests and get cool rewards!

New Promotion Heroes

Borgos (Warrior) Kind-hearted Borgos is the lord of the darkness. Meet Borgos and his monsters, and who has a weird relationship with the Gacha Rangers!

  • Borgos Slash (Block Skill): When the hero uses a block, uses Dark Baggy dealing physical damage equal to the hero's attack power.
  • Passive (4*~5*, Support type): When the hero is attacked, or when a block skill is used, they accrue Monster stacks (1/2/4) based on the length of the block skill used. Each Monster stack increases the hero's armor and resistance by 10. When the stacks are over 5, the next 3-chain skill will summon a monster that deals physical damage equal to 400% of the hero's attack power. Maximum 20 stacks (once per 4.5 seconds)
  • Passive (6*, Support type): When the hero is attacked, or when a block skill is used, they accrue Monster stacks (1/2/4) based on the length of the block skill used. Each Monster stack increases the hero's armor and resistance by 25. When the stacks are over 5, the next 3-chain skill will summon a monster that deals physical damage equal to (400+100*Monster's stack)% of the hero's attack power. Maximum 20 stacks (once per 4.5 seconds)

Captain (Paladin) He's the captain of the lazy Gacha Rangers. Why does it look like he's using his friends as shields? You'll never know.

  • Burning Justice (Block Skill): Deals fiery justice to an enemy dealing physical damage equal to the hero's attack power.
  • Passive (4*~5*, support type): Upon using a block, "Friend Shield" is cast on self and another ally with the lowest HP. Friend Shield grants immunity against 3 attacks for the for 10 seconds. (Activated every 2 seconds)
  • Passive (6*, support type): Upon using a block, "Friend Shield" is cast on self and another ally with the lowest HP. Friend Shield grants immunity against 5 attacks for the for 10 seconds. When attacked by an enemy while casting Friend Shield, the SP of the attacked ally increases by 7. (Activated every 2 seconds)

Viola (Archer) Viola communicates with ghosts and has a skill that weakens the enemy. Enjoy the surprise party with the ghosts!

  • Ghost Party (Block Skill): When the hero uses a block, a ghost is summoned that deals magical damage equal to the hero's attack power.
  • Passive (4*~5*, main type): When a chain skill hits an enemy, the enemy's healing amount will decrease for 5 seconds according to chain number. When a 3-chain skill hits an enemy, deals magical damage equal to Viola's attack power.
  • Passive (6*, support type): When a skill hits an enemy, the enemy's healing amount will decrease for 5 seconds according to chain number. When a 2-chain skill hits an enemy, the enemy's attack power will decrease by 20% for 5 seconds. When a block skill hits an enemy, Ghost party starts. There is a (40/70/100)% chance of an enemy being hit and taking magical damage proportional to Viola's attack power.

Scarlett (Hunter) Scarlett is a Pirate Captain of Valencia. She often collects weird animals.

  • No Mercy (Block Skill): Shoots a bullet, dealing physical damage proportional to chain number.
  • Passive (4*~5*, support type): When an ally uses a 3-chain skill, deals physical damage proportional to the hero's attack power as a liquor barrel is kicked toward the enemy. The barrel pushes away the enemy and stuns them for 0.5 seconds. The next block that the hero uses will be counted as a 3-chain skill. (Once per 4 seconds)
  • Passive (6*, support type): When an ally uses a 3-chain skill, deals physical damage proportional to the hero's attack power as a liquor barrel is kicked toward the enemy. The barrel pushes away the enemy and stuns them for 0.5 seconds. The next block that the hero uses will be counted as a 3-chain skill. (Once per 4 seconds)

Violet (Wizard) Violet is Viola's older sister. She can operate magic puppets. The puppets are now used to help out with work!

  • Marionette (Block skill): When using a block, summons a marionette that deals physical damage proportional to its attack power.
  • Passive (4*~5*, main type): Upon using a block, the number of Violet's magic dolls increases by 1 (maximum 2). Each magic doll deals physical damage proportional to Violet's attack power. Once reaching the maximum number of dolls, the next block skill will consume the existing dolls and summon a new one.
  • Passive (6*, main type): Upon using a block, the number of Violet's magic dolls increases by 1 (maximum 3). Each magic doll deals physical damage proportional to Violet's attack power. Once reaching the maximum number of dolls, the next block skill will consume the existing dolls and summon a new one.

Seiren (Priest) Curious Seiren is a part of the Naga Tribe that lives in the deep sea. What changes would her beautiful voice bring?

  • Bubble Shower (Block Skill): When a block is used, Bubble Shower deals magical damage proportional to the hero's attack power.
  • Passive (4*~5*, support type): Seiren casts Shell that creates a shield around all allies that absorbs damage proportional to Seiren's HP for 5 seconds. While Shell shield is active the ally will be healed for 3% of their HP every second.
  • Passive (6*, support type): Seiren casts Shell that creates a shield around all allies that absorbs damage proportional to Seiren's HP for 5 seconds. While Shell shield is active the ally will be healed for 5% of their HP every second. When a block skill hits an enemy, the enemy's movement speed decreases by 50%.

A few heroes have been reworked!

Robin Hood (Archer)

  • Passive (4*~5*, Before): Skill blocks activated after an ally uses a chain-3 skill will shoot an arrow that deals Magic Damage equal to 250% of the Hero's attack power with 15% increased the chance of landing a critical hit.
  • Passive (4*~5*, After): Block skill activated after ally's 3-chain will change into a single "Critical Shot" attack that deals magic damage equal to 300% of hero's attack power. Critical Shot deals 30% increased critical damage.
  • Passive (6*, Before): Skill block's activated after an ally uses a chain-3 skill will shoot an arrow that deals Magic Damage equal to 250% of the Hero's attack power with 30% increased the chance of landing a critical hit.
  • Passive (6*, After): Upon ally's 3-chain, immediately shoots "Critical Arrow" that deals magic damage equal to 200% of hero's attack power. The next block skill is changed into a single Critical Shot attack that deals magic damage equal to 300% of hero's attack power. Critical Shot deals 30% increased critical damage.
  • Grifall (Robin Hood Soulbound Weapon)
    • Grifall (5*, Before): (Passive critical hit) Reload effects
    • Grifall (5*, After): Critical Shot stuns enemy for 1.5 seconds upon critical hit
    • Grifall (6*, Before): (Passive critical hit) Reload effects, additional hit +1 (stunned for 1 second)
    • Grifall (6*, After): Increases both damage and critical damage of Critical Shot by 30%, Critical Shot stuns enemy for 1.5 seconds upon critical hit

No.9 (Hunter) No.9's range will be changed from 7 to 15. No.9's speed will increase in the order of Block>Passive>Soulbound Weapon.

  • Block Skill (Before): Snipes enemies (1/2/3) times equal to the length of the chain. Each bullet deals #physical damage# equal to 125% of the Hero's attack damage.
  • Block Skill (After): Snipes enemies (1/2/3) times equal to the length of the chain. Each bullet deals physical damage equal to 150% of the Hero's attack damage.
  • Passive (4*~5*, Before): When a skill block is used, the next RF-247 Sniper bullet will have a 10% chance of scoring a Critical Hit. If the Hero is already buffed, the Hero will shoot 2 more times.
  • Passive (4*~5*, After): After using block, the next block skill activates as reinforced RF-247 sniper bullet. Critical damage of reinforced RF-247 sniper bullet is increased by 30%. If the hero is already receiving a buff, hero immediately shoots 2 more reinforced RF-247 sniper bullets.
  • Passive (6*, Before): When a skill block is used, the next RF-247 Sniper bullet will have a 20% chance of scoring a Critical Hit with 150 armor penetration. If the Hero is already buffed, the Hero will shoot 3 more times.
  • Passive (6*, Before): After using block, the next block skill activates as reinforced RF-247 sniper bullet. Critical damage of reinforced RF-247 sniper bullet is increased by 50% and armor penetration by 50% of hero's attack power. If the hero is already receiving a buff, hero immediately shoots 3 more reinforced RF-247 sniper bullets.
  • Kiss of Jamiel (No.9 Soulbound Weapon)
    • Kiss of Jamiel (5*, Before): Snipe +1 when extra attack makes a critical hit, extra snipe deals critical damage
    • Kiss of Jamiel (5*, After): Shoots 2 reinforced RF-274 Sniper bullets when extra hit strikes critical, snipe always activated as critical hit
    • Kiss of Jamiel (6*, Before): Ignore evasion, snipe +2 when extra attack hits critical, extra snipe deals critical damage
    • Kiss of Jamiel (6*, After): Shoots 3 reinforced RF-274 Sniper bullets when extra hit strikes critical, snipe always activated as critical hit and ignores evasion

Maxi (Hunter)

  • Block Skill (Before): Fires an explosive magic bullet, dealing magic damage equal to (40/114/252)% of attack power based on the chain number.
  • Block Skill (After): Fires an explosive magic bullet, dealing magic damage equal to (121/242/410)% of attack power based on the chain number
  • Rodeo of Passion (Maxi Soulbound Weapon)
    • Rodeo of Passion (6*, Before): (Passive Activated) Attack power increases +50%, effect duration +3 seconds, applied to all allies
    • Rodeo of Passion (6*, After): (Passive Activated) Attack power increased by 50%, effect duration +3 seconds, applied to all allies, chance of reactivation +20%

Balance Fixes

  • Herbalist and the Novelist's healing power in Tundra Normal and Hard Stages 3 and 13 will decrease over time.
  • Neth army medic's healing power in Battlefield Normal and Hard will decrease.
  • All monster's stats in EP5 and EP6 will decrease.

Summer is almost over, but we still have bug problems!

  • Fixed the problem in Jin-Kyung's Soulbound Weapon, where Armor penetration did not apply.
